Origin

Margaret was created to be the wife of Gilbert with the White Hand and foster mother of Robin Hood in Robin Hood and Little John by Pierce Egan the Younger. Her home was attacked and burned by a group of the Sheriff's men led by Lambie, and she herself was shot and killed.
